Commissioners present: Andrea Winter (Chair), Suzanne Pelton
Visitors: Jim Biancola

Meeting was called to order at 4 p.m.  Minutes of the December 10 meeting were approved.

OLD BUSINESS
Westinghouse Streetlights – The application for Community Preservation funds is complete-thanks to Pam Kueber of the Streetlamps Committee. Suzanne will photocopy last pages and submitted to CPC tomorrow.

Preservation Plan & Application for Surveys Consultant  –  Andrea submitted application to  Mass Historical Commission for grant for $18,000 for consultant to update, and write new ones as needed, our surveys of historic buildings/houses.

Community Preservation (Funds) Committee  –  Andrea prepared an application to CPC for matching funds of $12,000 for consultant to prepare surveys of historic Lenox properties. She will also be at CPC meeting tomorrow night (as rep from this commission).

Student Volunteers  –   Natalie Allen has nearly finished updating Historic District Properties list, using the Assessor’s list (hours and hours of work.)  When finished, she will start photographing properties for our records.

Chris Skelly Intern – Andrea has no new information to report.

Historic District Agenda Posted on Town Web Site -  HDC agenda is now being posted on Town website.

Social Gathering with HDC and Historical Society is set for Sunday Feb 3 at 3 at Suzanne’s house, 235 Greenwood St. The purpose is to get to know each other and each group’s goals.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:15.
